How to mine Callisto

Callisto Network is a blockchain platform with its own cryptocurrency, CLO. Based on the Ethereum protocol using the Ethash mining algorithm, Callisto can be mined using the same mining machines as Ethereum and Ethereum Classic, which means both NVIDIA and AMD cards are supported.

Feel free to check out the official website and block explorer to get more familiar with Callisto before continuing. You can also find a summary of Callisto metrics and other resources on our Callisto page.

1. Obtain suitable hardware

✅ Callisto can be efficiently mined with GPU and FPGA devices.

❌ Callisto cannot be efficiently mined with ASIC or CPU devices.

View our Miners page to discover the most profitable devices for Callisto mining.

And don’t forget to check our Mining Hardware Tools page to download the necessary software for setting up your device.

2. Obtain a wallet address

You’ll need to get a wallet address if you don’t have one already. A Callisto wallet address is required for you to receive and monitor your mining revenue.

f2pool distributes mining revenues on a daily basis to every user who reaches the payout threshold, which is 500 CLO. f2pool’s payout scheme is 3% PPS.

We recommend the official wallet. After installing it, click Receive to get your new wallet address.

You can also choose an exchange, such as HitBTC. Note: You should always do your own due diligence when choosing a wallet provider or exchange.

3. Obtain mining software

Bminer for AMD and Claymore for NVIDIA are popular options for mining Callisto.

4. Configure mining software

After you have downloaded your chosen mining software, uncompress it, find the start.bat or start.cmd file, right click on it, and click Edit.

Replace the file’s existing commands with the commands from the chart below that correspond to your chosen mining software.

Software Commands
Bminer for AMD bminer -uri ethproxy://wallet_address.worker_name@clo.f2pool.com:8018
Bminer for AMD + BTM dual mining bminer -uri ethproxy://wallet_address.worker_name@clo.f2pool.com:8018 -uri2 tensority://wallet_address.worker_name@btm.f2pool.com:9221 -api 127.0.0.1:1880
Claymore for NVIDIA EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool stratum+tcp://clo.f2pool.com:8018 -ewal wallet_address -eworker worker_name -epsw x -allpools 1 -allcoins exp -gser 2 -mode 1

Replace wallet_address with your Callisto wallet address.

For dual mining with Bminer, replace the second wallet_address with your Bytom wallet address.

Finally, save the start file and exit. Double-click the start file when you’re ready to start mining.
