How to mine Pigeoncoin

    Pigeoncoin (PGN) is a community-operated project that aims to end data collection in social media. Pigeoncoin is a fork of Ravencoin and is mined using X21S, a modified version of the Ravencoin mining algorithm.

    1. Obtain suitable hardware

    ✅ Pigeoncoin can be efficiently mined with GPU devices.

    ❌ Pigeoncoin cannot be efficiently mined with ASIC or CPU devices.

    2. Obtain a wallet address

    You’ll need to get a wallet address if you don’t have one already. A Pigeoncoin wallet address is required for you to receive and monitor your mining revenue.

    f2pool distributes mining revenues on a daily basis to every user who reaches the payout threshold, which is 500 PGN. f2pool’s payout scheme is 5% PPS.

    We recommend the full node wallet. After installing it, click Receive to get your new wallet address.

    You can also choose an exchange, such as Hotbit. Note: You should always do your own due diligence when choosing a wallet provider or exchange.

    3. Obtain mining software

    T-Rex for NVIDIA and WildRig for AMD are popular options for mining Pigeoncoin.

    4. Configure mining software

    After you have downloaded your chosen mining software, uncompress it, find the start.bat or start.cmd file, right click on it, and click Edit.

    Replace the file’s existing commands with the commands from the chart below that correspond to your chosen mining software.

    T-Rex for NVIDIA t-rex -a x21s -o stratum+tcp:// -u wallet_address.worker_name -p x
    WildRig for AMD wildrig.exe –print-full –algo x21s –opencl-threads auto –opencl-launch auto –url stratum+tcp:// –user wallet_address.worker_name –pass x

    Replace wallet_address with your Pigeoncoin wallet address.

    Finally, save the start file and exit. Double-click the start file when you’re ready to start mining.

    5. Start mining today!

    Your machines are now ready to mine!

    As long as you’re submitting your hashrate successfully, you will receive payouts from f2pool.

    To view your real-time Pigeoncoin payout records, visit the f2pool website and click the 🔍 icon in the top-right corner, select PGN, enter your wallet address, and click Go.

    If you’re using the f2pool app, click the 👁 icon at the top-right corner of the main page and enter your Pigeoncoin address.
