Alephium is a layer-1 blockchain that combines innovative sharding, expressive sUTXO, and efficient Proof-of-Less-Work to secure scalable dApps for real-world applications.
Its native token, ALPH, supports the Blake3 mining algorithm and is compatible with ASIC mining devices.
Alephium mining information is available on the official website and block explorer, and our Alephium page.
In this mining guide, we will walk you through the settings and process of mining Alephium (ALPH) at f2pool.
1. Obtain suitable hardware
✅ ALPH can be efficiently mined with ASIC.
❌ ALPH cannot be efficiently mined with GPU cards.
❌ ALPH cannot be efficiently mined with CPU cards.
View our Miners page to discover the most profitable machines for ALPH mining.
2. Sign up for an f2pool account
You will need to create an f2pool account before mining Alephium (ALPH). If you do not have one yet, please click here to register.
Setting an account name will be required for configuration. You are free to create multiple subaccounts to monitor your mining machines.
3. Obtain and add payout address
You will need to get a wallet address if you do not have one already. An ALPH wallet address is required for you to receive your mining rewards.
You will need to get a payout address to collect your mining rewards. You can add or change your payout address in your Payout Settings.
f2pool distributes mining rewards on a daily basis to every user who reaches the payout threshold, which is 1 ALPH. f2pool’s payout scheme is 1% PPLNS.
You may get a wallet on their official site. Or use a wallet from an exchange such as MEXC or Gate. Note: You should always do your own due diligence when choosing a wallet provider or exchange.
4. Configure mining software
Mine with ASIC
For configuration, you could use a browser that accesses the IP address of your machine, or batch management software. You will need to enter the following information into your mining device:
Pool/URL: stratum+tcp://alph-asia.f2pool.com:5630
User/Worker: accountname.workername
Password: Your choice, such as 123
Please note
1. Your accountname
is provided in your Account Settings.
2. workername
is optional, but we recommend labeling each of your mining devices with a separate workername
for more efficient monitoring. Workername can be a number, text, or a combination of both.
3. To separate accountname
and workername
, use a “.” as the delimiter. For example, if your account name is “oceanminer” and your worker name is “bigfish1”, you should write it as “oceanminer.bigfish1”.
5. Monitor machine and reward
After your machine has been running for a few minutes, you can view its status and hashrate on the pool.
You can manage your account settings and monitor your hashrate, rewards and so on in your dashboard or in our f2pool app.
