Nexa is a highly scalable network built on the UTXO layer-1, offering features like smart contracts, native token services, and instant transactions. Its native token, NEXA, supports the NexaPow algorithm and is compatible with GPU mining devices.
Nexa mining information is available on the official website and block explorer, and our Nexa page.
In this mining guide, we will walk you through the settings and process of mining Nexa (NEXA) at f2pool.
1. Obtain suitable hardware
✅ NEXA can be efficiently mined with GPU cards.
❌ NEXA cannot be efficiently mined with ASICs.
❌ NEXA cannot be efficiently mined with CPU cards.
View our Miners page to discover the most profitable machines for NEXA mining.
2. Sign up for an f2pool account
You will need to create an f2pool account before mining Nexa (NEXA). If you do not have one yet, please click here to register.
Setting an account name will be required for configuration. You are free to create multiple subaccounts to monitor your mining machines.
3. Obtain and add payout address
You will need to get a wallet address if you do not have one already. A NEXA wallet address is required for you to receive your mining rewards.
You will need to get a payout address to collect your mining rewards. You can add or change your payout address in your Payout Settings.
f2pool distributes mining rewards on a daily basis to every user who reaches the payout threshold, which is 50,000 NEXA. f2pool’s payout scheme is 1% PPLNS.
You may get a wallet on their official site. Or use a wallet from an exchange such as MEXC or CoinEx. Note: You should always do your own due diligence when choosing a wallet provider or exchange.
4. Configure mining software
lolMiner and BzMiner are some of popular options for mining NEXA with GPUs.
After you have downloaded the mining software, uncompress it, find the start.bat
or start.cmd
file, right-click on it, and click Edit
.
Replace the file’s existing commands with the commands from the chart below that correspond to your chosen mining software.
Software | Commands |
---|---|
lolMiner | lolMiner.exe --algo NEXA --pool nexa.f2pool.com:3400 --user account_name.worker_name |
BzMiner | bzminer.exe -a nexa -p stratum+tcp://nexa.f2pool.com:3400 -w account_name.worker_name |
In the above command, replace account_name
with your f2pool mining account name set in Step 2.
worker_name is optional, but we recommend labeling each of your mining devices with a separate worker_name for more efficient monitoring.
Finally, save the start file and exit. Double-click the start file when you’re ready to start mining.
5. Start mining!
Your machines are now ready to mine! You can manage your account settings and monitor your hashrate, rewards and so on in your dashboard or in our f2pool app.
