The epoch reward for CKB will be reduced from 1,917,808 to 958,904 CKB when the epoch number reaches 8,760. We estimate that this will happen approximately on 2023-11-19 at 17:00 UTC.
Please take this into consideration when planning your mining activities as your revenues from mining CKB might be reduced. Please refer to f2pool halvings page for more information.
We have decided to close our XVG mining pool on 2023-11-08 00:00 UTC. The remaining balances will be paid out within a week after pool closure. The mining revenue query of XVG will still be available until 2023-12-08. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@f2pool.com or open a support ticket.
From 11:14 to 14:13 UTC on 2023-11-01, the Nervos network experienced a brief anomaly. This occurrence had a temporary impact on our CKB mining pool service, which has since regained stability. Please note that due to this network anomaly, the CKB blocks mined during this period were invalid. As a result, the mining rewards for CKB for that day will be affected. We appreciate your patience and understanding. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at support@f2pool.com or open a support ticket.
According to official DNX notice and miner feedback, some older versions of the mining software are not compatible with the DNX network and are no longer available for DNX mining. We strongly encourage DNX miners to upgrade their mining software to OneZeroMiner 1.2.5 or SRBMiner-MULTI v2.3.9 as soon as possible. For more details, please refer to the DNX mining guide.
If you have any questions, please contact us at support@f2pool.com or open a support ticket.
Due to an upgrade of the Hathor pool, we have suspended the HTR pool and its payouts starting 2023-11-01. Please note that mining activities of other merged mining currencies will not be affected. Due to the server upgrade of KAS, some users’ KAS mining rewards between 04:02 and 04:34 UTC on 2023-10-12 were affected. f2pool will recalculate the actual rewards for KAS and compensate you once the calculation is completed. Please view the Revenue page for the relevant records.
If you have any questions, please contact us at support@f2pool.com or open a support ticket.
Starting on 2023-10-10 00:00 UTC, f2pool users will experience a shorter freeze period for the payout functionality after modifying their wallet addresses. After modifying an address, payouts for mining rewards will be frozen for 24 hours starting from the day after the modification (previously 72 hours). During the freeze period, mining rewards will be temporarily stored in the balance. Users can check the detailed time for the resumption of payouts on the wallet address settings page.
Please note:
1. Accounts that recently updated their wallet address prior to 2023-10-10 00:00 UTC will automatically adopt the new freeze period.
2. Accounts that add a wallet address within 7 days after registration are not affected by this change. Payouts will start on the first day after updating the wallet address.
3. Login-free mining does not support modifying the wallet address and is therefore not affected by this change.
If you have any questions, please contact us at support@f2pool.com or open a support ticket.
As the abnormality on the KAS network has been resolved, f2pool has reopened the KAS mining pool. If you have any questions, please contact us at support@f2pool.com or popen a support ticket.

f2pool has officially launched the Dynex (DNX) mining pool! Dynex is a neuromorphic supercomputing blockchain based on the DynexSolve chip algorithm, which uses a Proof-of-Useful-Work (PoUW) approach to solving real-world problems. It supports mining with GPUs that have a RAM of no less than 3GB.
Our DNX mining pool applies a 1% PPLNS payout scheme. To start mining, users need to add both types of stratum and mallob URLs to the command lines of their chosen software. Please select a pair according to your location:
North America
stratum+tcp://dnx-na.f2pool.com:6300 (stratum)
dnx-mallob-na.f2pool.com:6380 (mallob)
Asia
stratum+tcp://dnx-asia.f2pool.com:6300 (stratum)
dnx-mallob-asia.f2pool.com:6380 (mallob)
For configuration, please refer to the detailed tutorial.
Since our DNX pool was designed for login-free mining, registrations are not required. Users should use a DNX wallet address for mining, inquiring about mining data, and receiving rewards. Do not use the DNX deposit address on exchanges for mining as exchanges do not currently support direct deposit of DNX mining rewards. This could result in a loss of income that cannot be recovered. For selecting a mining wallet address, you can use the mobile or GUI wallet listed on the DNX official wallet webpage.
If you have any questions, please contact us at support@f2pool.com or open a support ticket.

f2pool has launched the Bitcoin Transaction Accelerator, which helps speed up on-chain Bitcoin transactions. Users can pay for acceleration on this page by entering the transaction ID that needs to be accelerated.
Before using the accelerator, you will need to register an f2pool account and deposit funds into your U Account for payment. Currently, only USDT payment is supported. After submission, you can view the specific information in the “Acceleration Records” section.
Please note:
1. When depositing USDT, please double-check the network type, minimum deposit amount, and wallet address to avoid asset loss.
2. Confirm the transaction ID and fee before submitting it for acceleration, and complete the payment before the quotation countdown ends. Once submitted successfully, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
3. Acceleration is not supported for some transactions, such as Bitcoin Ordinals, and feedback of “Transaction does not exist.” indicates that it cannot be accelerated.
4. The accelerator is currently only available on the desktop website. Please use it on f2pool.com.
5. The accelerator is only available after logging in. Please make sure you have completed account registration and added two-factor authentication.
6. f2pool collaborates with multiple mining pools. If any of these pools produces a block, your transaction will be accelerated. Since the time of finding blocks by pools cannot be predicted, the transaction acceleration time cannot be estimated.

Our daily IRON payouts have started on 2023-04-23, and we now support memo format addresses. Please ensure that you check your address carefully before adding it. Once added, payouts will automatically occur once the payout threshold is reached.
If you haven’t added a wallet address yet, please set it up in your account settings by following this tutorial. For security reasons, the payout will pause for three days after any changes to a wallet address (newly created accounts within 7 days will not be affected).
Please note that if you need to add a memo format address for IRON payouts, make sure to add your memo after your wallet address, separating it from the address with a dot (Example: IRONaddress.Memo). Using an incorrect format will result in the loss of your funds and cannot be recovered.
If your IRON payouts are frozen due to a change in your wallet address before 2023-04-28 00:00 UTC, at 00:00 UTC, f2pool can manually unfreeze it for you. To apply, please reach out to the f2pool customer service channel and set the title as follows: IRON withdrawal + your f2pool subaccount name (apply for one account/subaccount at a time).
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at support@f2pool.com or open a support ticket.

Please take this into consideration when planning your mining activities as your revenues from mining ETHF might be reduced. For more information about Milan upgrade, please check out their Twitter and GitHub.
We are happy to announce our Zilliqa mining pool and our limited-time Zilliqa mining contest!
From 2023-03-15 00:00 UTC to 2023-04-04 00:00 UTC, the Top 20 users by daily average hashrate mining ETC+ZIL at f2pool, can receive rewards in proportion to their total hashrate contribution from a prize pool of 500,000 ZIL.
Please note that anonymous and cloud mining are excluded from this mining contest. f2pool reserves all rights for the final explanations for this event.
Zilliqa is a blockchain that enables and scales decentralized apps, from financial services to NFT marketplaces. It uses Proof of Work mining for Sybil resistance and Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance for consensus, and is commonly dual-mined with ETC.
Our Zilliqa pool is currently dual-mined with Ethereum Classic, with 1% PPLNS as the payout scheme for ZIL, and 1% PPS for ETC. Due to the nature of Zilliqa’s mining mechanism, you may mine 1 minute of ZIL every 1 to 2 hours, and use your hashrate for ETC mining for the rest of the time. Please use the server URL stratum+tcp://etc-zil.f2pool.com:6200 in your configuration.
Zilliqa supports GPUs and ASICs. Some available ETC ASICs including ForestMiner, iPollo, Pandaminer, and so on, while Antminer, Innosilicon, Jasminer, Tibit, and YAMI’s ETC mining machines are currently not available. Click here for mining guides.

f2pool calculates the Aleo testnet 3 mining rewards based on the Incentives part displayed on its official explorer. “Incentives” stands for rewards for miners, while “Coinbase” stands for the total block rewards. “Incentives” is about 20% of “Coinbase”. Thus, the differences in standards will result in different rewards displayed on different mining pools. However, the results of two standards will be finally translated to basically the same amount of rewards that you receive afterward.
f2pool applies a calculating method based on Incentives and shows you the numbers that are closer to the actual Aleo rewards. Read more about Aleo incentivized rules.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at support@f2pool.com or open a support ticket.
f2pool has launched the mining services on Aleo testnet 3, as the incentivized testnet stage has been activated.
Mining rewards will be settled daily as credits, according to the payout scheme of PPLNS, and then accrue in your f2pool account. Adding of wallets and reward withdrawals are currently not supported, we will send payouts according to Aleo’s follow-up post about the details of the incentives. Please stay tuned for our further announcement.
Aleo is a new layer-1 blockchain platform for creating scalable and private applications applying zero-knowledge cryptography, by using a hybrid consensus architecture named AleoBFT, which leverages PoS to achieve instant finality for block confirmation. It leverages PoW “coinbase puzzle” that rewards the development of faster techniques for proof generation.
Currently, you may mine on Aleo testnet 3 with your Nvidia GPUs at f2pool. Please refer to this guide for the requirements and configuration.
Please kindly note that, in order to receive incentivized testnet rewards, KYC process is required after launching the mainnet. If f2pool cannot pass through KYC by the Aleo project team, we will not be eligible to receive rewards from the network and thus cannot distribute them to you. Also, we will restrict our services to the regions that are under Aleo official’s restriction, for more information please check here.

f2pool has launched the ETHW (EtheremPoW) mining pool, the remaining hashrate in our ETH pool is redirected to our ETHW mining pool.
ETHW uses the Ethash mining algorithm, it can be mined with current GPUs and the Ethash ASIC mining machines. For configuration, please view this mining guide.
The remaining hashrate in our ETH pool is redirected to our ETF mining pool automatically after the Ethereum Merge. Since the initial stage of the ETF network is unstable, the stale rate remains high, thus displaying fluctuating mining rewards on your dashboard. To view your rewards accurately, please allow a day for settlement.
Dear ETH miners,
Our ETH pool mining service will terminate at the time of the Merge completes. Thanks again for being with us over the years!
The calculation of ETH mining rewards ended by the same block. We will complete the reward settling on the following day and make the payouts by 2022-09-24. To receive your mined ETH rewards, please check the availability of your wallet address or add a valid address if you have not done it. Refer to this guide.
After 2022-09-24, if there are unpaid balances of no less than 0.002 ETH in your accounts, please click the “Manual Withdrawal” button on your Revenue page to apply for the withdrawal. The withdrawal will only be available by 2023-01-01 at 00:00 UTC, please make sure you complete the withdrawal by this day.
After the Merge completes, the remaining hashrate in our ETH pool will be redirected to our ETF (EthereumFair) mining pool automatically, as a way to reduce losses from running the rigs. You may view the details on your Revenue page.
We also plan to launch our ETHW mining pool, and will keep you up to date about it in our following announcements.

The Ethereum network will perform an upgrade on block height 12,965,000, which is estimated to happen at about 12:00, August 5, 2021, UTC. We’ve upgraded our node and set up Flashbots MEV, as Ethereum miners with F2Pool you do not need to do anything specifically for the upgrade.
After the upgrade, the fixed block reward will remain the same, however, the gas fee structure will be adjusted to “BaseFee + Tips”. The BaseFee in each block will be burned and the Tips will still be a part of the miner’s income. Due to the fees burned, there will be possible decreases in fees. As fees are a result of network activity, this is usually hard to estimate since it’s subject to the actual gas fees mined.
The London upgrade will also push back the difficulty bomb to December 2021. Before the bomb is triggered, you may continue taking part in Ethereum mining.
If you have any questions, please contact our support team at support@f2pool.com or open a support ticket.

The Ethereum DAG file size is estimated to reach 4 GB on December 25, 2020 at 2:00 UTC. After that, mining Ethereum with 4GB GPUs or ASICs will be affected. Miners can refer to the following ways to deal with the change:
1. Use software like Bminer v16.4, lolMiner or Teamredminer. Both of these support continued mining of ETH with 4 GB memory devices but with some loss of hashrate, since every time the epoch file grows in a 4 - 5 day cycle, the hashrate will decrease slightly.
2. Modify your GPU’s onboard memory units. Find a reliable service provider to change the miner’s memory units to a higher capacity to continue mining ETH.
3. Switch to other networks with your current, unmodified hardware. 4 GB GPUs will continue work on mining other coins such as BEAM, RVN, SERO, and ETC. You may refer to the f2pool Popular Miners page to see revenue information on different networks.
The Claymore Ethereum v15.0 miner will no longer support mining when the DAG epoch reaches 384. Unless an updated version of Claymore is released to address this issue, miners may need to switch to other mining software to avoid losses.
The IMG network is now returned to normal and f2pool’s IMG pool has already resumed. If you encounter any issue while you are reconnecting your miner, please contact our support team at support@f2pool.com or open a support ticket. Happy mining!

Please take this into consideration when planning your mining activities, as your revenue from mining ZEN will be reduced.
The ETC (Ethereum Classic) network will perform the Thanos hard fork at block 11,700,000, which will be mined on about November 29, 2020. The mining algorithm of ETC will change from Ethash to Etchash, which means Ethash ASICs and rented Ethash hashpower from NiceHash will not be able to process the new algorithm and mine ETC. Meanwhile, the ETC network’s DAG file will decrease in size. With this decrease, 3GB and 4GB GPUs will be able to continue mining ETC.
After the hard fork, you will need to update your configuration and restart your mining machines.
In our earlier announcement, “Our handling of the BCH hard fork upgrade”, we notified miners that BCHA (Bitcoin Cash ABC) would be distributed at a ratio of 1:1 based on BCH balances on November 15, 2020 at 12:00 UTC.
On November 26, 2020, we converted BCHA to BCH based on the price at 4:00 UTC and distributed it to miners. This BCH will show up on your revenue records with the label “Candy Distribution.” When your BCH balance reaches the minimum threshold, it will be paid out along with your BCH mining revenue.

BCH (Bitcoin Cash) will undergo a network upgrade on November 15, 2020 at about 12:00 UTC. The upgrade may result in two different chains and additional tokens due to the differences of opinion between two main BCH clients, Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA) and Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN).
We will take the following steps to ensure the security of our users’ assets:
1. When the upgrade completes, our BCH pool will be transitioned to a BCHN pool.
2. Starting from 23:40 UTC on November 14, 2020, BCH mining as part of the BTC Profit-Switching (SHA256d) pool will be suspended. BSV and BTC mining will remain available.
3. Due to the lack of transaction replay protection and the risk of on-chain transactions during the upgrade, BCH payouts will be paused from November 15 on.
4. If the upgrade results in additional tokens, we will credit them at a ratio of 1:1 based on BCH balances on November 15, 2020 at 12:00 UTC.
5. When the upgrade completes and the chains stabilize, we will release further announcements about when we will resume payouts and BCH mining in the BTC Profit-Switching (SHA256d) pool, our support for BCHA mining, the distribution of new tokens, etc.

The number of confirmations required by some third-party wallets and exchanges has increased. Miners should contact the platforms where they receive ETC payouts to confirm the exact number of confirmations required by their platform.
While our payout system has not changed, it may take longer than usual for you to receive your ETC payouts due to this change.
We have made an optimization for checking mining revenue. “24 Hours Revenue” has been replaced with “Yesterday’s Revenue” to make the process more convenient.
In f2pool’s previous revenue data, “24 Hours Revenue” was defined as your revenue from 24 hours previous up to the time you checked the data. Our users often mistook it for the previous day’s revenue.
After collecting opinions from miners, we removed “24 Hours Revenue” from our revenue data and replaced it with “Yesterday’s Revenue” to increase the accuracy and effectiveness of the data. Now, “Yesterday’s Revenue” stands for the previous day’s revenue, on a settlement day (payouts circle) basis.
Due to the recent hard fork on the VCASH network, we needed to upgrade our wallet to execute payouts normally. The upgrade is now complete, and we have resumed VCASH payouts.
Due to a decreased number of miners and low mining revenue, we have decided to close the ETP pool at 00:00 UTC on August 27, 2020.
The ability to check ETP mining revenue using your address will be retained for two months. If you have an unpaid balance, please wait for us to launch a small amount withdrawal function (expected in mid-September) and try to withdraw to your wallet yourself, or apply for a small amount payout via a support ticket/email.
We had an abnormality in our ETH pool during an upgrade from 9:30 to 11:00 UTC on August 16, 2020. Some ETH miners who were mining with a username encountered hashrate declines or disconnections.
To recover losses, we have decided to recalculate the revenue of the affected miners in terms of their actual hashrate during this period and make compensation. The relevant data has been collected, recalculation has been completed, and the compensation will be distributed into affected accounts on August 20, 2020 UTC.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding. We continue to provide a reliable mining pool service.
In accordance with its protocol, Grin no longer supports the C31 mining algorithm. Corresponding shares of block outputs of C31 became 0 when the block height reached 826,560 at 03:59:08 on August 14, 2020 UTC. Grin supports multiple mining algorithms, and each algorithm’s share of block output continues to change.
Miners should switch to Grin’s C29 or C32 mining algorithms or to other coins that are more profitable to mine to avoid potential losses.
On August 13, 2020, VCASH network’s hard fork was completed. Because we need to upgrade our wallet to process transactions normally, VCASH payouts have been temporarily suspended.

From 2020-08-01, f2pool will support the PPS+ payment method for ETH wallet address mining. Miners who use a wallet address to mine ETH will now also get a share of the mining fee, as a bonus.
PPS+ is a combination of two models, PPS and PPLNS. The block reward is settled according to PPS, and the transaction fee is settled according to the PPLNS model. It means that with PPS+, the miner obtains additional income from a portion of the transaction fee based on PPLNS.
For coins that have growing transaction fees, adopting the PPS+ method helps miners increase their revenue.
Some 4 GB GPU mining cards have encountered issues, including lower than expected hashrate, errors in the mining software and disconnections while mining ETH.
As the ETH Epoch continues to increase, ETH mining requires GPU cards with a larger memory space to store DAG files. Claymore’s latest version is no longer able to support ETH mining on 4 GB GPU cards anymore. This has caused some miners using Claymore and 4 GB GPU cards to have issues mining ETH.
In response to this problem, many mining software providers have provided solutions:
Bminer and PhoenixMiner have already optimized their mining software and miners can continue mining ETH on 4 GB GPU cards using the latest version of Bminer and PhoenixMiner.
